CREATIVE ART DIRECTION
Great brand imagery is decided before the shoot: concept, casting, light, set, and the discipline to select ruthlessly afterwards. We direct photography and campaigns for fashion brands so every image — whoever shoots it — comes back recognizably yours.
Decided beforeWHAT DIRECTION COVERS
The idea, the story and the visual world of a launch — expressed in references a whole crew can execute.
Models, wardrobe logic, props, locations and sets chosen to serve the concept and the customer, not the crew’s habits.
The light, lens and color character that become your brand’s photographic signature across shooters and seasons.
Retouching notes and grade direction so the finished images match the concept — our own retouchers work to the same direction.
THE DELIVERABLES
Art direction fails when it stays a vibe. Ours is documented at every stage.
The visual target, pinned down: imagery, light, color and composition references the whole team aligns on.
Per product and per look: the exact frames the shoot must return, including e-commerce essentials and campaign heroes.
Set, props, styling and schedule guidance so shoot day executes the concept instead of improvising it.
Post-shoot editing of the take to the concept — the step where consistency is won or quietly lost.
OUR PROCESS
Your identity, past imagery, customers and competitors — we learn what “yours” means before directing anything.
Directions presented as moodboards and sample frames, refined with you into one approved visual world.
Shot lists, styling and set direction issued; the shoot is guided against them, in studio or remotely.
The take is edited to concept and post-production is directed, so delivery matches the approved direction.
ACROSS CHANNELS
Product pages shot to one standard across collections and seasons — the quiet consistency shoppers read as quality.
Hero imagery and its social cut-downs planned together, so a campaign looks like one thought everywhere.
Yes. Art direction is leadership, not location: we develop the concept, references, shot list and styling/lighting direction, and guide selection and post-production — whether the camera team is ours, yours, or a studio you already work with. The deliverable is a shoot that comes back on-brand, whoever pressed the shutter.
The working documents of the shoot: concept and moodboards, shot lists per product or look, set, prop and styling direction, lighting references, and post-production notes for retouching — plus directed selection after the shoot, so the final set is edited to the concept, not just to taste.
Identity is the rulebook: logo, color, type, imagery style. Art direction is applying that rulebook to a specific shoot or campaign — this season, this collection, this story. Brands with strong identities still need direction per production; brands without one get a working direction here that often becomes the seed of their identity.
Both are normal. A single campaign or collection launch can be directed as one project; brands with continuous content often keep direction ongoing so every shoot, month after month, compounds recognition instead of restarting from zero each time.
That inconsistency is exactly the symptom direction treats. We audit where the drift happens — different shooters, no shared references, post-production without notes — and install the references, shot discipline and review step that keep product pages, campaigns and social visually related.
