3D COMPOSITING & VFX
Your photographed scene, your rendered product — one believable image. We match light, shadow, reflection and perspective so precisely that the join disappears, and your existing photography gains products and possibilities it never shot.
Two sources,WHAT COMPOSITING DOES
Compositing is the bridge between your photography library and your CGI library — in both directions.
A rendered product placed into a photographed room, street or tabletop — with the scene’s own light falling on it.
A photographed product or person set into a rendered environment, matched the other way around.
New versions, colors or configurations composited into proven campaign photography instead of reshooting it.
Backgrounds extended, environments completed and impossible elements added beyond what retouching alone can do.
THE CRAFT OF INVISIBLE
Viewers cannot name why a bad composite looks wrong. These are the five reasons — and the five things we match.
Direction, hardness, color and falloff of the scene’s light recreated on the CGI element.
Shadows with the right weight and softness, and grounding where the product meets the surface — the most common giveaway.
What a glossy product reflects must be the room it sits in, not a generic studio.
Lens geometry matched, photographic grain and color response unified across both sources in the final grade.
OUR PROCESS
Your photography and the CGI element are assessed together; feasibility and approach are confirmed before production.
The scene’s perspective and lighting are reconstructed so the rendered element is lit by the photograph itself.
The combined image is built and reviewed with you at working resolution for placement and believability.
Edges, shadows, reflections and grain are refined, the unified grade applied, and the result checked at full zoom.
TYPICAL JOBS
One striking image a shoot could not schedule: the product, the place, the moment — assembled from the best of both worlds.
This season’s version inside last season’s proven campaign photography.
Products on rooftops, underwater, mid-air, oversized — anywhere physics or budgets said no.
The best starting points are high-resolution originals (RAW or unretouched files where available), the lens and angle information if you have it, and any reference of the lighting setup. That said, good composites are routinely built from finished photography alone — send what exists and we will tell you honestly what is achievable with it.
Not if we have done our job. A composite fails or succeeds on light direction, shadow behavior, reflections, perspective and photographic grain — the details this service exists to match. We review composites at full zoom against the source photography before delivery, and we will flag any element we believe will not hold up.
Yes — this is one of compositing’s most valuable uses. The new version is modeled and rendered into the original scene with matched light and perspective, extending a campaign’s life without reshooting it. The original photography and its approvals stay untouched.
Product clips and short campaign motion can be composited when the footage and the CGI element are planned for it — tracking, lighting match and movement all raise the bar versus stills. Share the footage or the concept and we will scope it honestly rather than promise film-grade VFX by default.
Retouching perfects what the camera captured: cleanup, color, shape, finish. Compositing adds what was never in front of the camera — a product, a variant, a whole environment — and makes it belong. Most hybrid images use both, in that order.
AN IMAGE THAT NEEDS THE IMPOSSIBLE?
We will assess the sources honestly and show you what a composite can achieve before any production is quoted.
